Delete your account

1. Delete your account in Quizsona

The in-app process is the fastest option:

1. Open Quizsona and sign in to the account you want to delete.
2. Open Account.
3. Choose Delete account, review the notice, and confirm.

Confirmation submits the deletion request immediately. Quizsona will end your signed-in session as part of the deletion flow.

2. Request deletion by email

If you cannot use the in-app flow, email us from the address linked to your Quizsona account. Use the subject “Quizsona account deletion request.”

Do not include your password, Google credentials, recovery codes, or any other authentication secret.

We may ask you to reply from the account email or complete another reasonable verification step. We process verified email requests within 30 days, or sooner when required by applicable law.

3. What account deletion removes

A completed deletion request removes:

• Your Quizsona authentication account, including the Google account email and associated sign-in provider identifier.
• Your Supabase user ID and associated Quizsona cloud profile.
• Synced derived Type Lab and Sun, Moon, and Rising placements and their version metadata.
• Any legacy account-linked private comparison rows, if present, except for limited records we must retain by law. Remote comparisons are not offered in the first public release.

4. Local and anonymous data

Data on your device

Raw answers and exact birth date, time, city, and coordinates are stored locally and are not part of account sync. To remove local data, use Quizsona’s in-app data deletion controls, clear Quizsona’s app storage in your device settings, or uninstall the app.

Anonymous Room analytics

Room analytics do not contain an account, device, or session identifier. Because these events cannot be linked back to your account, they are not located or removed through account deletion. They expire under the 90-day retention period described in the Privacy Policy.

De-identified information

Information that has already been de-identified and cannot reasonably be linked back to you is not restored to identifiable form for deletion.

5. Limited retention exceptions

We may retain the minimum information required to comply with law, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, prevent abuse, or maintain security. Service-provider backups can also retain deleted data for a limited period before normal rotation removes it. Retained information is not used to continue providing a deleted account.

6. What happens after deletion

• Deletion is permanent and the deleted cloud profile cannot be restored.
• You can continue using guest-first parts of Quizsona after local app data is reset.
• If you later create a new account, it will be treated as a new account.
